How do I print on the mailing labels?

Print the mailing labels on a laser printer, copier, a thermal printer or handwrite the address yourself with a pen or marker. Our special inks are designed to work with toner drums that you encounter with a copier or laser printer. We used to sell mailing labels that have side "pin-feeds". Yet, this is a product that seems to be no longer in demand and we have decided to no longer push this product on our site.

Can I order a full-color process mailing label?

More and more of our mailing label orders are printed in glorious four-color process. We will soon launch a wizard that will streamline these orders. Until then, please call our Mailing Label CSR specialists and, together, we will help you with full-color, process mailing labels.

What is good artwork for a logo or mailing label background?

We accept files in the following formats: PDF, EPS, AI and CDR. Make sure to convert text to curves and give detailed instructions regarding colors, cropping, etc. When you give us camera-ready art or a bit-mapped image for your mailing label, it must have straight edges with high resolution and must be 600 dots per inch or greater to be accepted. For artwork provided on films, each color must be supplied on separate films.

Can I change the outer border for the mailing labels?

Our great prices are based on our specific mailing label templates. You are really getting a multi-colored mailing label for a 1-color price! To keep these prices low, we must insist that the border color, size and placement remain the same. If, however, you want a mailing label that has a different border, we would be delighted to help you with this requirement. The costs will be slightly higher.

What do you mean by the term "pre-printed" mailing label?

We print the fixed information on your label in advance. The fixed "pre-printed" information, typically, includes your company name, address and logo. Your labels also come to you, of course, with the colored border design. You must then print the "Ship To" information on your mailing label. You can print this "Ship To" information on a thermal printer or laser printer. Or, you may just handwrite the "Ship To" information on the mailing label yourself with a pen or marker.

My logo appears to be fuzzy when I view in on the design. What is wrong?

Yes, this sounds like a problem. We can only print to the quality of the image. Please see if you can find a version of your logo with a higher quality or resolution. Mailing labels always look better if your logo is crisp.

Do your labels come with a liner? How do I expose the pressure sensitive adhesive?

Yes, our labels come with a removable liner. The mailing labels sold in roll form also have perforations between each label – making it easier to snap off just a few labels. The liner on the laser printable mailing labels is engineered to feed well through laser printers.
